Ebru Kürkcü graduated from the Department of English Translation and Interpreting Studies at Çankaya University in 2017. After completing a Master of Arts in Translation and Interpreting Studies (English) at Hacettepe University, she is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the same department. She translated Jessa Crispin's book Why I Am Not a Feminist: A Feminist Manifesto (2017) into Turkish and worked as a freelance English tutor. After working as a translator at the Association for Solidarity with Asylum Seekers and Migrants for about two years, she began her academic career as a research assistant in the Department of Translation and Interpreting at İstanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University, where she worked for two years. Since May 2022, she has been working as an instructor in the School of Foreign Languages at OSTİM Technical University.
